Matches

Matches are 11 a-side and are usually played on a Sunday morning.

Training

Training takes place mid-week on the 3G pitch at Roundwood Park School.

Below are the answers to common questions we are asked by parents;

Is there currently a waiting list?

If you are interested in joining there are places available in some squads so please contact the year group lead (see above). It is also helpful if you can provide any details on past experience as this will help us consider which squad may be most suitable.

How much does it cost?

For the current season the subscription fee is £170 for new players.

This cost covers the following: Training venues, pitch booking, referee fees, football shirt, shorts & socks, equipment and balls, limited entry to tournaments, club administration costs, coaching and insurance premiums. New players will need to purchase an additional home or away shirt depending on which is provided with the full kit.

What equipment is required?

The three essential requirements are football boots, shin pads and a drink. We also strongly advise parents to purchase some cold weather and water proof clothing (including gloves and hats).

How often are matches played?

Each squad is in a League and cup competitions and play regular matches most Sundays Sept till early May.

Do the teams enter any tournaments

Squads are free to arrange entry into any tournaments or competitions. The costs will generally need to be covered by the parents.

Can I be involved in the coaching/ club administration?

Yes, we would encourage any parent who wishes to coach or to help the club with various roles to get involved. We currently have coaches for each of the squads but are always looking to get new volunteers to assist the club. We can also provide details on various FA coaching courses if they wish to get some more formal training. All coaches are DBS checked.
